The Christian Marriage & Family
28 January 2007Tessi and I were recently inspired and encouraged by a series of lectures given and available for download by Fr. Josiah Trenham of California. He speaks very well about what an Orthodox Christian marriage looks like, and how God intended it to be from the very beginning. It has made us aware of our shortcomings, misguided expectations, and is helping us to prepare ourselves for the sacrament of marriage. Just thought we’d share it with all of you! Please keep us in your prayers.

You two will have such an advantage in maturity cuz you’ve both lived on your own and worked jobs, its great that you are able to hear these inspiring truths and can absorb them. My pre-marital counsel flew over my head. It wasn’t until some time went by that I looked back and remembered- This is what they meant! And great pics of little Tess Merilda!

I was talking with John Miller last weekend, and he said that he wants to get this priest to come do a marriage retreat in C-ville this summer.

That would be amazing. Wish I had more time off throughout the year!
